Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and Serbia's Aleksandar Vuciq at their informal meeting yesterday in Brussels, mediated by EU High Representative Federica Moghrini, have agreed that the two states start a new phase of dialogue aimed at normalising the reports between the two countries.

According to President Thaci, meeting with Serbian President Vuciq was focused on the necessity of opening a new phase of dialogue, leading to a full normalisation and reconciliation between our states and our peoples, writes Voice.

The “was a joint conclusion that only normalisation of full interstate reports, only reconciliation between our countries and our peoples represents more peace, stability for both countries, for the region, the most secure and fast European future of our countries”, he has said.

The president has said the European Union will lead this successful process, an intensive, dynamic process of this new phase with intent and clear vision, but at the same time with time deadlines.

“We have agreed that this process will be completed as soon as possible, to be finalised and implemented as soon as we can, he added.
