Votes Begin for New DP Leader

Today the Democrats will vote to elect their party's new leader, while Lulzim Basha and Edward Saladi participate in the race.

The voting process began at 8: 00 a.m. and we participate 103 thousand members of the PD. The exact number of DP membership was released after the list was reshuffled.

Lulzim Basha and Edward Peace are the only two candidates in the race. Through a cast cast on the Electoral Organising Commission in the DP, there is also the ranking on the ballot sheet, where the current chairman, Basha, will be first and his challenger, Peace, will have number 2.

After 16 days of intensive campaigning, the two candidates closed the tour in 68 DP branches across the country, where they also held public meetings among themselves on 4 occasions.

Throughout Friday, members of the voting commissions -- in 73 commissions set up throughout the country -- have been equipped with material bases and yesterday's afternoon -- have been confirmed that everything is ready for the development of elections in the DP. There will be 103.952 members of the DP eligible vote across the country, who will elect the new DP chairman for the next four years.
