Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, told TV Pink (Serbia) that he was not in the US to oppose it and that he is satisfied with its content, tone and way of communicating with US Vice President Mike Pence. For most of the cases, Vuciq said, we have had a consensus of views with the US vice president.
He really understood what I was talking about. Of course, the topic was also Kosovo”, Kosovo told Pinkut Vuciq TV.
“I talked about that from 1999 to 2008, until the recognition of Kosovo's independence and how Serbs feel, that they feel forgotten and neglected, sometimes even humiliated”, Vuciq says.
Belgrade media quoted Vucinqi as saying that she had talked about how “this situation is balanced, that all be dissatisfied or somewhat satisfied. That it would be better for the region than everyone else to be satisfied, while only Serbs feel humiliated”, Vuciq was quoted as broadcasting Koha.net.
Asked whether at the meeting there was a case of the murder of Bytyci dancers or the burning of the US Embassy in Belgrade, Vucic has replied that the Pence was correct and that he did not want to put it in an unpleasant situation.
“We know what our obligations are and at no time escape from Serbia's obligations in the case of Bytyci”, Vuciq has indicated, but I want to protect him from the insults of some lawyers.
“People feel that the US are not enemies of Serbia and that we should have a positive attitude towards the United States”, the Serbian president has said, among other things, Belgrade media reports.
