U.S. media report that President Donald Trump's son met with a lawyer linked to the Kremlin last year after being promised information that would harm Trump's Democrat rival Hillary Clinton.

The president's son-in-law, Jared Kouchner, and then campaign leader Paul J Manafort also attended the meeting, reports the New York Times and the Washington Post.
