US President Donald Trump has held with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin a second meeting, undiscovered earlier at this month's G20 summit in Germany.
They talked after an official meeting, but the White House did not reveal the details of what was discussed.
President Trump dismissed reports of a hidden “”, calling them as “false news”.
The two leaders' relationship is under deep scrutiny amid charges of co-operation between Russia and Trump's campaign.
American intelligence believes Russia helped Trump in last year's presidential elections, which was denied by Russia. Trump has rejected every deal.
The second meeting took place during a private dinner of heads of state at the G20 summit in Hamburg.
The American president was alone, and Putin was accompanied only by his official translator, writing American media saying the meeting lasted an hour.
The only version of what was discussed was given to White House officials from Trump himself, as there were no other US officials present.
