Concern is the number of violent murders, where during 2016 alone, 41 suicides occurred or 21.8%, writes Indexline.

A total of 188 violent murders include suicides, 128 disasters, and the 19.

What is noted in these statistics is that in all violent deaths, they dominate the age of 20,49, both men and women.

These statistics are listed in the report of the Kosovo Statistics Agency.

“The deaths reported by family members and registered in the Founding Death Registers, for 2016 were 9246, of them deaths in Kosovo alone 8495, while deaths that occurred outside Kosovo have been recorded a total of 751”, said in the statistics report.

Of the total reported deaths in Kosovo alone, 4796 are male or 56.5%, and 3699 are female or 43.5%.

As to where these deaths occurred, most of them have occurred at home, where statistics estimate that over 50 percent are at home.

“46.3 % of the cases of death occurred in health institutions, while 52.5 % have occurred at home and 1.2 %, elsewhere” says the report.

On the other hand, according to the municipality where they took place, Pristina takes first place with 2696 cases of death -- the second-place Prizren with 908 -- the third, Peja with 573 others.

As far as belonging, Albanians attend 92.9%, writes Indexline.

The dead babies for 2016 were 199, and the total dead turnout is 2.3 %. Male 116 or 58.3 %, female 83 or 41.7 %

According to recent statistics from 2001 to 2016, 935 suicide cases have been recorded.
