Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has not yet set the date of the Kosovo Parliament's binding. President Ardian Arifaj's adviser told Radio Free Europe that it is still not known when the consensus Senate will be held.
The “Ende is not set when the constitutional sessions will be held. Whenever the decision is made, we will announce to you”, said Adrian Arifaj, political adviser to President Thaci.
Since Certificate of Parliamentary Election Results of June 11th, the legal deadline for the institution's constitutionalisation runs through the first week of August.
With the Constitution of the Parliament established, verification of mandates is made and the new chairman of this institution, who will be nominated by the coalition. PAN (Democratic Party of Kosovo, Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and Initiative). The five deputy heads of the Assembly, who will make up the institution's new headship, will also be elected.
From the moment of the Assembly Construction, based on election outcome, coalition candidate PAN for prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj must within 15 days make his proposal for the formation of the new Kosovo government.
He is expected to receive the mandate for prime minister from the president of Kosovo.
Part of the government, according to the Constitution, will also be minority communities, which as a whole constitute 20 deputies in the Kosovo Assembly.
