Thaci meets Hoyt Yee, talk about these issues

The meeting has discussed political developments in Kosovo, the process of establishing institutions, transforming KSF, dialogue with Serbia, as well as the bilateral relations between two states, the Presidency reports.

President Thaci has stressed that the June elections were free, fair and demographic, meeting the highest democratic standards.

“With the same standards, without wasting time, new Kosovo institutions must be created”, he added.

The president has reaffirmed that Kosovo, along with strategic partners, the US and NATO, will transform the KSF into the Kosovo Army through transparent and comprehensive process, which is under way.

Regarding dialogue, the president has said Kosovo is interested in a new dynamic in dialogue with Serbia, which must end with the full normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

Thaci and US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Yee have also talked about deepening relations between the two states.
