Known surgeon Mentor Petrela, on the blacklist of abusers

Mentor Petrela is a well - known name for Albanian medicine, since the professor was elected in February 2014 among the world's 100 best surgeons.

The chief of Neurosurgery at the hospital centre “Mother Teresa” has been denounced by anonymous citizens for administrative violations. There have been many who have protected him and many who say he is one of the most corrupt people in government.

Dr. Petrit Varg wrote on his Facebook account a response to this incident giving his opinion.

He writes that Petrela entered the list of the top 100 after being part of a neurosurgeon association led by an Austrian, whom he had recognised during receiving an Austrian loan paid off by Albanian citizens.

Dear journalists and friends! I feel it's my duty to explain, given the ongoing disinformation under which Prof. Dr. Mentor Petrela, was one of the world's 100 best kickways in 2014. Don't be a rat and believe your feelings, which led to one of the most corrupt people in Albania.

I want to explain that Prof. Petrela joined an association made up of 100 Neurour surgeons led by an Austrian. Austrian Professor Petrela recognised it during the implementation of an Austrian loan, which is cleared by Albanian taxpayers.
