The reason for the latest move in the government cabinet is revealed. Prime Minister Edi Rama has dismissed Deputy Defence Minister Idlir Peci from office. The decision was made on July 3rd at the next meeting of the Council of Ministers.
The Defence Ministry reports that Idlir Peci's post as deputy minister has been made with its request for professional reasons”- the MM officially reported. Along with the publication of reason, the defence minister of “thanks Mr. Peci for his engagement in this institution and wishes all the best in his new engagement”.
This morning it was announced that “with the prime minister's proposal, the Council of Ministers decided: Mr. Idler Peci, deputy defence minister, is relieved of this task. This decision goes into effect immediately”
