Quinti is declared: We will work with every government legally formed

Embassys of the Quint countries in Kosovo through a statement to the media have indicated that they will work with any legally formed government, while calling on political parties that will form the next government to hold rule of law, fight corruption and crime as priorities....
The joint declaration of embassies of France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States in Kosovo says the Government and Parliament should proceed as soon as possible to ratify the border agreement with Montenegro, and to engage seriously in dialogue with Serbia to normalise relations between the two states.
Full statement:
We have seen the results of early elections for the Republic of Kosovo Assembly. We also recall the initial findings of the EU Mission for Election Observation and expect the new Assembly to prioritize its response to the recommendations of this mission.
We also want to give the position of our states regarding government formation. Just as we have made it constantly clear to the citizens of Kosovo are the ones who choose their representatives. Only these representatives are responsible for creating a new Government on the basis of Kosovo's laws and Constitution. We will work with any legally formed government and respect Kosovo's commitments, the European Agency for Reform, and the broader European perspective of Kosovo. We encourage parties that form the next government to hold rule of law as priorities and fight corruption and organised crime in all parts of Kosovo so much needed investments for job creation and sustainable economic growth as a priority.
We also encourage Government and the Parliament to proceed, as soon as possible, ratifying the border agreement with Montenegro, and seriously engage in dialogue with Serbia to normalise relations between the two states.
