Regardless of who can form Kosovo's new government, the country's future executive -- whoever forms it -- expects a long list of tasks, considered to be priority, assessing political developments in the country.

According to them, ratification by the new legislature of the Agreement for marking the border line with Montenegro, which paves the way for visa liberalisation for Kosovo, will be the first task, which cannot be avoided in any way.

Albert Krasniqi, Kosovo Democratic Institute analyst, tells Radio Free Europe that future government priorities will be determined depending on who the Government will be created by the coalition of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and Initiative for Kosovo, known as the coalition The PAN, which has won 39 seats in the Kosovo Assembly, or the Vetevendosje Movement, which has won 32 seats.

The priorities of political subjects, according to him, are different, but anyone who creates Government will face at least three priorities.

The “, regardless of their ideological or programative orientation, is to pass the agreement on the demarcation of the border between Kosovo and Montenegro as soon as possible. Then, rule of law would have to be done through which corruption is fought and connected with foreign investment in Kosovo and the creation of new jobs. A third priority would have to be reform in health, greater investments, whether in infrastructure, in objects, in providing more services to Kosovo citizens”, Krasniqi says.

Similar thoughts are shared by political connoisseur Emrush Wolfan. Speaking to Radio Free Europe, he says the priorities facing the new government are international but domestic obligations.

“The implementation of the border agreement with Montenegro, in this format or another, should definitely have an answer. The second will be the issue of co-operation with international mechanisms to enable the functioning of the Special Court. Of course, as an internal matter, the institution of the prime minister and the new government will fall so far as possible, the economic situation and economic development, to turn Government trust in citizens into some form. I think recently, the belief in Government has been pretty low”, says Wolfan.

However, Krasniqi expresses the opinion that the new government will also face, as he says, other tasks, which are inevitable.

“The establishment of Association (of Serb majority municipalities) and a host of other demands, which will be inevitable”, Krasniqi estimates.

Wolfani, stresses that continuing dialogue with Serbia will be inevitable for the new Government.

“to make an adequate contribution to contribute to regional stability, dialogue with Serbia is the task that should continue further. Of course, Kosovo, obligations of international character, is not new. It will also be the struggle to empower rule of the law and independent the judiciary in the company of”.

For the formation of the government, at least 61 MPs are necessary. So far, none of the political subjects who have won seats in the Kosovo Assembly have introduced any coalition, which guarantees the parliamentary majority, which would also enable them to establish the new government.
