The ASS in the Harmony Price Index has drawn a comparison of some of the food products in June 2016, with May and June of this year.

One kilogram of beef in June last year has had the average price of 7.23 euros. While in June 2017, the price has marked an increase of 7.47 euros.

There were similar increases with chicken. In June 2016, 1kg of chicken was sold at an average price of 2.58 euros. Unlike June 2017, the same product has cost 2,62 euros.

The same price hikes have been seen in trees and vegetables. A pound of bananas in June 2016 has cost 1.20 euros. At the same price, citizens were unable to buy in June of this year. After the price has gone up for seven cents.

Onekg of tomatoes in June last year has cost 66 cents, until in June of this year the same product has had the average price of 76 cents.

The foods Kosovars consume most are seen to have suffered this increase. Onekg of beans in June last year has had an average price of 2.18 euros, until June of this year 2.33.

Given all the measurements the ASS has made for average prices in food products, sugar has also seen rising at the price. The June 2016 price for 1kg of sugar has been 0.078 cents, until June of this year has cost 90 cents.

Even the basic food product for basic water needs has marked a two - cent rise. Tobacco users have suffered badly at prices.

A pack of Marlboro cigarettes, in June 2016, cost 2.40 euros, in June 2017 this product grew for 10 cents.

It was similar with car derivatives. One litre of gasoline in June 2016 has cost 99 cents, otherwise in June of this year it has grown to 1 euro and 5 cents.

These data published by the Kosovo Statistics Agency have been received as average euro prices for several articles for June of this year and last year. /Indesksonline/
