This meeting will take place in Podgorica, within the Adriatic Charter meeting US-Adriatic Charter '% (A5), on Wednesday 2 August and is organised under the auspices of Macedonia and Montenegro.
Due to the importance of the meeting, Kosovo is represented by the president of the Republic. President Thaci's Information Office has confirmed the meeting with Vice President Pence, in which various topics will be discussed.
At this meeting according to them, it will be discussed deepening relations between the US and Kosovo, while President Thaci will ask for Deputy President Pence to speed up Kosovo's NATO membership.
New US Vice President Michael Pence has already confirmed his participation in this forum, which has become a very important platform for deepening co-operation between Balkan states, in achieving NATO standards and Euro-Atlantic values.
Even the White House on the official page has announced the participation of US vice president in Podgorica and his meeting with leaders of the Western Balkans.
The participation of vice president Pence at this forum is seen as US commitment to the security and stability of Western Balkan states.
