Pleading for 55 kilograms of Drugs

Abedin Bytyqi has pleaded guilty to 55 kilos of the marijuana until Enver Chenaj was declared innocent.

Since the initial session, shortly after reading the indictment, the accused Bytyqi pleaded guilty to purchase, possession, and unauthorized exploitation of the 55kg of the Mariarian.

I apologize and deeply regret doing this criminal act, and I promise the court that in the future I will not repeat it again”, Bytyqi said.

The accused in the same process as Bytyqi, Enver Chenaj, when asked about the guilty plea, replied “not, I don't feel guilty”

As a result, the court postponed the conviction of accused Bytyqi, while further the trial will continue only to indictees Enver Chenaj.

Both defenders of the accused, the Asdren Hoxha and Nasuf Hasani, demanded that the detention measure of the two indictees be interrupted, but the same request was rejected by the chairman of the court, Vesel Ismajli.

Pristina's foundation prosecutor on May 26th has filed charges against Abedin Bytyqi and Enver Centaj, who have been caught with over 55kg of drugs.

During this time, always in accordance with the indictment, accused Chenaj had been waiting for the accused Bytyqi to disperse the narcotic substance.

Also found during the examination are the traces of the third defendant, Arlind Germuz, but the same is on the run.

Bytyqi and Cenya, along with accused Arlind Germisi, are charged by the prosecution for criminal work buying, possession, distribution and unauthorized selling of narcotics, psychotropes and analogs.
