Jakupi and Selimi originate from the same village of Sqaheraj. Leonora Jakupi's family and Rexhep Selimi are descended from the village of Aqareve of Drenica.
So both are cousins among themselves and certainly are proud of their origin, after their parents' village is known as the country that has given much to Kosovo's freedom.
