This news, although it has already confirmed rumors that have circulated over the past three years, that there are people interested in exploiting the Kala for business purposes, has shocked us that we didn't really think local government would allow such madness. The victimisation of the director who says she didn't know anything was drinking water, since we don't have to believe she wasn't in the knowledge that Mentor Salihu, son of the uncle Bajram Mullaku, once her associate party from the PDK, has submitted a project to transform the castle into a restaurant.

We, as a citizen group, will address relevant institutions as well as relevant embassies, especially those in the United States that have invested in restoration to stop this madness because previous practices like building the Stone Bridge restaurant have shown that through these forms our cultural heritage is being destroyed and no one is responsible for it. Agim Gergur last night had argued his institute's decision by posting photos of two bottles of plastic on the Wall of Kale.
