Hoti: We will not leave way for people who have linked personal destiny to Kosovo's fate

The candidate for prime minister from the LDK-AKR-Alternative coalition, Avdullah Hoti, has said the political scene has been engulfed by politicians who have personal problems and forget that citizens have brought them to those positions.

According to him, the LDK will commit that this political class, which has no progressive ideas and well-planned actions for the citizens' interest, will not yield.

The political scene is engulfed by politicians who have personal problems from different backgrounds. Such politicians will try to hold the country hostage because their fate is tied to certain political positions.

There is a time in Kosovo that has been forgotten that being in politics and being in institutions means being contracted by citizens, through free vote, to serve them.

As long as politics is the only profession for some individuals, as long as politicians are caught differently, their behavior in politics will be unreasonable and at least in the interest of citizens. Rather, their every move will be in the function of their political position as a temporary measure of protection and realisation of certain interests.

We will engage in such a class of politicians to face with progressive ideas, well-planned actions that are in the interest of citizens. I'm sure this approach won't make it through.

We can't stay in the past because that kind of politician still has decision-making powers. We can't leave roads for such people, as hard as it would be to convince citizens such politicians don't deserve to be supported.
