The Pristina Community Assembly on Friday will debate the Central Mosque, which is expected to be built in Pristina.
Pristina municipality spokeswoman Miranda Mullafazliu said that KALLXO.com will be debated at the 25 July meeting.
The assembly's “shall be appointed to be held on July 25th. One of the agenda points is the issue of mosque”, she said.
The mosque debate is open after a group of citizens demand that BIK not be issued permission for mosque construction.
The Islamic Community of Kosovo says that if they do not get permission to build the mosque they will continue construction even without permission.
Today during the day, for KALLXO.com, BIK spokesman Ahmet Sadriu, who said he would wait until the decision is made at the Communist Assembly to see what they will do away.
A meeting was held last week between BIK Chairman Naim Ternava and Pristina municipality Chairman Shpend Ahmeti, who was accompanied by Albin Kurti, to discuss the issue. Ahmeti had said the mosque would be built.
