At least 300,000 rounds have disappeared without leaving any trace of Slovak Army warehouses, the Slovak news agency T reported today. ASR.
The total number of these missing caricators was determined after an inventory made after the disappearance of even a large quantity of hand grenades and antitank grenades last April.
Following the final report by the Slovak Defence Ministry, President Andrej Kiska held an extraordinary meeting with Defence Minister Peter Gaydos and Army Chief of General Staff Milan Maxime.
“The players must be found, as well as the location of these” ammunition, President Kiska said.
Slovakia has been a member of NATO since 2004 and borders on Ukraine, currently involved in the whirlwind of a civil war.
