An explosion has occurred today in Venezuela's capital, Karaka, during a protest against the country's President Nicolas Maduro, where several police officers have been wounded.
The protests were organised against the Meduro administration and its intention to hold a referendum on constitutional changes, which the opposition sees as an effort on the part of Venezuela's president to grab more powers, Reuters reports.
So far over 100 protesters have been killed during the three-month opposition protests against the country's president.
