The big explosion in Velipoj, here's the details (Video)

The blast wave threw away the restaurant owner on the beach in Velipoja. According to police, 55-year-old Besnik Zenun is in serious condition. And a passerby was badly hit by the blast wave.

Witnesses say that the flame came out of the kitchen, while very few people were in the restaurant. Three customers were just leaving, and fortunately escaped, while the flame wave struck a 19-year-old near.

The Witnesses told Top Channel that the flame went up too high, including all the balconies and windows in the palace five stories.

Many were in and injured by the flame, while only after the police arrived, they were thrown out.

Most are tourists from Kosovo, who lost personal documents by fire.

“We just got out the explosion. In the second blast, people outside” have also been injured, says a tourist from Kosovo.

“The first blast was accompanied by two more explosions, and then a large flame of” broke out, says another vacationer.

The Witnesses tell of those injured by the flames. They have first intervened to help the people who were hit by the blast.

The Witnesses say that at first they had heard a sound like a loud hissing and then an explosion of flames occurred. Technical inspectors who saw the scene said that none of the tanks exploded, but there has been a gas leak from the tank a thousand litres in the restaurant basement, and then the large amount of gas collected inside the bar is lit by a spark.

The injured were taken to the Shkodra hospital, while the two owners, father and son, were transported by helicopter to Tirana.
