Turkey's President, Recep Tayip Erdogan, has continued the charges against the European Union, saying Turkey must move on its own.
He has promised to bring the law to power for the death penalty if parliament passes it.
Ergogan, was part of the memorial ceremony for 250 people who died during last year's failed coup attempt, broadcasts relief.
He has accused the European Union during a speech in front of the presidential palace in Ankara, that he has not kept the promises he made.
The European Union's stance is clearly evident, 54 years have passed and they still create trouble for us”, he said, adding that the EU has failed to keep promises from the visa issue to aid for Syrian migrants.
We'll fix our things, we've got no other solution”.
He has said he would approve “without hesitation” the death penalty, if parliament were to vote to return it to power.
Relations between Europe and Turkey were strained following the failure of the coup.
More than 150,000 people have been suspended from work, while more than 50,000 people have been arrested following suspicions that they have been linked to religious cleric Fetullah Gulen.
Ankara accuses Gulen of having participated in organising the bid for Pic, charges he has denied.
European Commission Chairman Jean-Claude Juncker has said the EU remains committed to dialogue with Turkey.
He has called on Turkey to strengthen democracy and rule of law.
Junzer was declared against the return of the death penalty.
“If Turkey were to return the law to death, the Turkish government would close the door towards membership in the European Union”, the German newspaper Bild told Juncer.
