Erdogan: Muslims allowed entry into Al-Axa without any obstacle

The president of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayip Erdoğan, has been conducting a telephone conversation with Israeli President Reuvin Revlin about the recent tension at the Axsa Midjid in Jerusalem. Report AA.

According to information from presidential sources, President Erdoğan is taught during the telephone conversation that the July 14th event at the Al-Axa complex, where there were victims in people, has caused concern and added that he expresses regret over lost events and lives.

President Erdoğan also stressed that violence cannot be approved.

Among other things, after recalling that respect should be shown to the sanctity of religious environments and historical status, Erdoğan has stressed that it is necessary that Muslims within religious freedom should enter the Axa Mosque without any obstacle.

President Erdoğan, noting that the Sheriff's Harem is of importance to the entire Islamic world, it has indicated that tension must be over, while Israeli soldiers must lift the implementation of control with metal detectors as quickly as possible.

On the other hand, the Israeli president in the telephone conversation has stressed that the measures in question have been undertaken in order to strengthen security, meanwhile, has guaranteed that there will be no change in the status of the Al-Axis complex and that religious freedoms will not be limited.

President Erdoğan in connection with the event in Al-Axa, in the morning hours, has also had a telephone conversation with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
