Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has today accused the main opposition party instead of being ranked alongside terrorists on the seventeenth day of a “justice march in the name of” that is under way in Ankara, while heading towards Istanbul, the main goal of the rally.
This march has been undertaken for nearly three weeks with Republican Party leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu's initiative to protest the imprisonment of Enis Berberoglu, Republican MP, sentenced to 25 years in prison for publishing state secrets.
Moving under the slogan “Justice”, Kilicdaroglu has joined a growing crowd at every stage of the journey designed to end on July 9th at a giant rally in front of the prison where Berberoglu stands isolated, in Maltepe, near Istanbul, writes international media.
If you continue to stage protests to protect terrorists and those who support them, while you do not intend to stage protests against terrorist organisations, you cannot convince anyone that your goal is justice”, Erdogan has said today.
