Current Democrat MP, Bedri Hoxha, has been hit by a sympathiser DP shortly before the start of the meeting called by DP leader Lulzim Basha in Burrel

At the meeting called at the Palace of Culture in Burrel, Basha would present his project to return The DP in a winning force. According to MP Hoxha, it was national Demir Cupi who shot him before the meeting and then followed the legal path to clarify the event.

Bedri Hoxha from September will no longer be part of Albania's Parliament because Basha did not include him on the candidate list for MPs and was one of Basha's firms on leaving the DP.

MP Bedri Hoxha is convinced he has been hit because of his duty, as there is no conflict with the person in question. Hoxha regrets that the event took place at a time when elections for the DP leader are held and claims there are persons who are jealous of the electoral power he has.

“People in the party blind my election results in all elections when I've been in the race since 2003 and until 2013. I've never lost. Personally, I don't have any kind of pressure that I haven't run, but this kind of attitude at this time when competition is going on inside the party doesn't understand what background it has, Hoxha explains.

The Democrat MP confirms there was a telephone conversation with Basha in the evening and claims that the person who hit him years ago was also appointed as prison director.
