A small plane of five people aboard has disappeared east of Papua province in Indonesia.
Melchizedek Kotta, chief of the local research and rescue agency, said the plane has disappeared during short flight to a mountainous region.
He said the plane was launched at 11:00 local time and had lost contact shortly before the landing that was scheduled around 11:25.
There were two pilots on the plane, one Indonesian and one Dutch, and three Indonesian travelers.
