CEC does not clear lists for local elections either

As for the June 11th general elections, there was a cleanup of lists with 55 thousand names removed from the lists for local elections, according to Central Election Commission Chairman Valdete Daka will not be able to clear lists due to the short term.

Old election problems are expected to be repeated even with the case of local elections in Kosovo, to be held in autumn of this year.

Regardless of whether in any election process the electoral lists were cleaned up by removing the names of dead persons and those who have renounced Kosovo's citizenship, however, it was never possible for the election lists to be thoroughly cleansed.

This is about the fact that in every election process there were reports of finding dead names on voter lists. There were even reports when someone voted on names of dead people.

This problem is expected to be presented in local elections as well.
