The audience general of the Republic of Kosovo has praised the Kosovo Assembly with the highest positive marks in the latest report, where no irregularities in procurement management and contract management have been found, the Parliament has announced.
The Auditor's report for 2016 has established the Assembly as one of the most transparent and responsible institutions in budget spending, while all of this has been achieved thanks to close co-operation between the Speaker of the Parliament and the Secretary of the Assembly Administration, the announcement said.
According to the Auditor's report, which has been making years of comparisons for the management of the Parliament, it is noted that in the last two years that the Assembly is led by Chief Prime Minister Kadri Veseli, progress has been noted in boosting transparency and efficient management of the UN budget”, the report says.
The Survey of 2016 report contains four key points that make the Assembly the most effective institution in transparent management of the budget, the statement points.
“Planned budget spending has been realised at 99 per cent. The salary and hire budget 99 per cent. The budget for goods and services 100 per cent. For municipal services 100 percent. About 100 percent subsidies. For capital investments 99 per cent”, the General Auditor's report on the Parliament was quoted in the report.
The “as far as the Parliament's budget for subsidies is concerned, it is implemented under the relevant regulation for subsidies and in reconciliation with Article 15 points of the Parliament's regulation. This report also stresses that the Assembly has prioritized recommendations from the preliminary year”, the statement says.
On the other hand, it is known that the Auditor General has also praised the transparency of the Parliament, which features all the expenses on the website for every three months including the presentation of every mile of official cars.
Another point that stands out in the Auditor's report is that the Assembly has thoroughly carried out all the payments to the contracting economic operators”, the statement concludes.
