Albania in trouble with fires, 10 in the last 24 hour

Civil emergency has provided information on the forest fire situation. Over the last 24 hours, there have been 10 forest fires in Vlora, Shkodra, Durres, Fier and Berat with material damage. Firework services intervened despite field difficulties. Over 50 fire forces, 14 vehicles, 20 forest forces, as well as residents of the area have been committed to extinguishing the flames in all operations.

BRACH
In the village of Bogonga, Corovoda fell fire on a bush and pine surface. Because of the difficult mountain terrain, firefighters have worked with circumstantial means to extinguish the fire. In aid to its extinction, residents of the area went. As a result, an area of about 1 acres [1 ha] of bushes and pines were burned. This morning the fire station has been reactivated again and fire forces are working at the scene, and according to recent information the fire has been brought under control.

Ten forces from the Forest Directorate went to their aid. As a result of the fire, some 4 acres [4 ha] of bushes, thorns, and pines were burned.

• In the village of Zaem, Lushnje rained fire on a bush, thorns, and olives. In support of the fire forces were engaged and residents of the area, as well as eight forces from the Lushnje Forest Directorate. As a result of the fire, an area of 3 ate bushes, thorns, and some new olives burned.

• In the neighborhood of “29 Mars”, Fier fell fire on a bush and thorns, and the residential center was endangered. The local fire service has gone to the scene and completely extinguished the fire. As a result, an area of two dozen bushes and thorns were burned.

• In the village of Zhupan, Fyer fell fire on a bush, thorns, and olives. Despite the intervention, a surface of 2 dozenm shrubs, thorns, and in part 10 new olive roots were burned.
