The head of the Food and Veterinary Agency, Valdet Djindovci, said vaccinating the cattle would include the entire territory of Kosovo, including the country's north.
He announced there are about 280 thousand heads of cattle that will be vaccinated this year.
He then appealed to all farmers to vaccinate their cattle because of the great importance of preventing skin disease.
According to Djindovci, the vaccine of cattle against skin disease has produced good results, as he said no cases of this disease have been presented this year.
Dukagjin Deda, from the Agro Loni farm” in the Peja municipality, said the importance of animal vaccination lies in preserving health for all.
The campaign for the vaculation of all cattle-type animals has started in the Pec municipality and will continue on the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
