Legendary Rapsody Gjoke Nonaj was fired at the age of 107, and on Friday he was moved to the last residence in the Kodra-Marcaj cemetery in Lezha.
He was born on the Hill of Shkrell in 1910, and with his life as repsod carries fine interpretations with his lahuta of the Kreshnik Circle, becoming a vivid legend of the existence and continuation of the ancient tradition of the Albanian epos.
The age of his bath, passed by, also exceeds the century.
At the National Folklore Festival in Gjirokastra in 2015, Gjoce Nona sang along with two grandsons, ceno and Nicholin Nonaj, as well as his niece, Joy Nonj, who is currently the only female lahuist to play this instrument in Albania.
Thanks to the Nonaj family, the preservation of tradition with the epic songs of Muji and Halil, as well as the motives of the Majrah song.
The Golden Age songs are among the most important pillars of Albanian culture and come from the X centuries IV-XV. The well is still present in Malta, Has, Tropoj, Peja, Gjakova and Rahovec.
