Trepca 89 today finds its way to the Champions League

The champions of Kosovo, Trepca 1989, today will debut in the Champions League.

Today there are the first games of the first preliminary round of the Champions League. There are four games on schedule, while for footballers in Kosovo one game is very important.

For the first time, a football team from Kosovo will play a European match.

It's the Trepca ʹ89 champion from Tuesday (day) at 8:00 p.m. facing the Viking River Islands.

The miners have arrived at their destination, where they have held their final training before the match. The match will be played at the “Torsvoltur” stadium in Torshavn, the chief centre of the Faroe Islands.

The club from Kosovo hopes a positive result in the first match, to ensure the qualifications in the return match, held after a week at the Ademi Jashar Stadium in Mitrovica.
