Kumanovo, No Road Appointed in Albanian

Kumanovo continues to ridicule Albanians. All major roads, but even those within the neighbourhood, continue to bear Slavic names of the time of communism. <x0) JNA”, “Pite Guli”... are some of the names that keep the main roads and those inside Kumanovo's neighborhoods, writes Koha newspaper. Besides, [...]
In addition, no inscription within the city, placed by the Kumanovo municipality, shows that Albanians live in this city except for Macedonians. The main signs in Kumanovo's entrances are only in Macedonian. In fact, written in the candlelike and Latin alphabet, only in Macedonian.
Although there are many Albanian advisers, even all these post-war years are part of local power, the same has not achieved a smaller movement in terms of changing this situation to this nearly half-assemble Albanian city.
Tragic, meanwhile, remains the name of the Kumanovo Square, which since the era of monism, continues to be called “Noova Yugoslavia”! Always, DUI Albanian advisers have been in coalition with the winning party in Kumanovo, namely Zoran Damjanovski-Cicin of the LSDM, while the latter has always won local government with Albanian votes.
That there is deep discrimination is only enough to see the neighbourhoods inhabited by Albanians and the rest of the city, where Macedonians live mainly. Parks everywhere, asphalted roads, schools with very good conditions, while three Albanian high schools do not have a sports hall.
That Albanian advisers are powerless, it also shows that, after numerous protests and after more than three years, the opening of an Albanian parallel at the “Panche Pesev” music school in this town was barely achieved.
