NATO's Euro-Atlantic military alliance has increased its military presence in the Baltic countries, following the decision made a year ago at the Warsaw Summit.
NATO has deployed four multinational battalion groups in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland, which are headed by the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany and the US, respectively.
Part of NATO's military troops are Albania's Armed Forces, which have sent the first 18-strong EOD military specialised contingents (EOD Exploitaries Orange Disposal), to NATO's operational mission under the reinforced presence in Latvia.
Troops deployed at the Adazi military base in Latvia also held a parade to show their strength and discipline.
Canada, Latvia, Poland, Spain, Italy, Slovenia, and Albania arrived in the parade where the Secretary General took part NATO Jens Stoltenberg, as well as top military representatives of participating countries.
EOD is a special facility for eliminating dangerous materials, jennyano Battalion Support Command. Albania is part of the Latvia battalion group under Canada's command, including countries like Italy, Poland and Slovenia.
