Macedonia's Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, after meeting with Kosovo Republic Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, has held a press conference.
We talked about joint projects and joint communication today, and we also talked about the highway that connects Kosovo with Macedonia through the Khan border point of Elez and the opening of a new border point”, Zaev has said.
He has said 19 agreements have been signed with Kosovo while more than 20 are pending.
“We are two states that have aspirations for NATO and the EU and we pledged that we will support each other because the future is in NATO and the EU”, he added.
In terms of trade exchange, the Macedonian prime minister has said it amounts to 160m euros.
With Kosovo we have 160m euros in trade exchanges and we hope this will exceed 200 million. Also, we expect Kosovo coal exports to Macedonia” to increase, he has added.
