Zaev has said his salary is 87 thousand denars [1400 euros] and has acknowledged that some directors have salaries of up to 120 thousand denars, but according to him, those salaries will be reduced while his salary will remain the same.

I got my salary. My Honors give them to charity. The salary issue is under way, some directors have higher salaries than I do, up to 120 thousand denars [19000 euros], they are expected to shrink, and mine will not increase. I've had average life, so I live. A wife does chores, arrangements, bills paid, cares for her children. This is to illustrate, because a solid and human society is my target”, Zaev said in the Alsat-M interview.

This Zaev comment comes after Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj days ago from 1550 euros has raised the salary of up to 2950 euros a month. Speaking of the decision to raise its own salary, government office staff and cabinet staff, Haradinaj had indicated there was a need for “to buy even ties shirts and tie” because, according to him, Kosovo state officials need to file ahead of their conversationaries at various meetings.

Prime Minister Haradinaj has been awarded 300 ties by a group of citizens who have expressed dissatisfaction with his salary increase.
