One person was arrested after a terrorist attack on the largest bus terminal in New York.
“Terrorists will not win”, said New York Mayor Bill De Blasio after the Manhattan bombing. Authorities said the detainee, identified as the 27-year-old Akayed Ullah, an immigrant from Bangladesh living in Brooklyn, was injured when the artisanal explosives he had attached to the body erupted.
Authorities did not provide detailed details, but said the aggressor does not seem to be connected to any terrorist group and probably acted alone.
Three random passers were injured, but they are out of danger for life.
