One worker in the year, during yesterday, has suffered serious bodily injuries at the workplace.
As police reports through today's police report, the same while working has fallen from a three - foot [3 m] skeleton.
He has suffered bodily injuries by which he was sent for medical treatment first to the Gjilan Hospital and then urgently to KKUK in Pristina.
Low level of job safety, but carelessness has been identified as factors that have influenced 11 workers to be hurt in Kosovo this year, or even lost their lives in their jobs.
The deaths of workers and their injuries at workplaces, officials from the Ministry of Labour and Social Management say, have occurred in the private sector, mainly in the construction worker, but do not rule out other sectors as well.
The private sector, which is the biggest employer in Kosovo, by representatives of workers' rights advocates, is considered to be the biggest worker's rights violator, which therefore has a lower level of job safety, until the situation is much better shown in the public sector.
