A message written by Turkish Foreign Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in front of the cameras, while his Greek counterpart, Prokopis Pavlopoulos, was referring to the Treaty of Lausanne and the Cyprus problem during yesterday's historic visit to the Turkish leader in Athens.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlyt Cavushollou wrote something in a letter and left it on the table to President Erdogan, who took it slowly, opened it and read it as he continued to listen to the president of the Hellenic republic.
Was this letter a message to reject Pavlopoulos for failing tonegotiate the Lausanne Treaty, was it just a moment to distract it, or was it just a reminder to say something that Erdogan could have forgotten without saying so far? I only know that Erdogan.
Note the moment the chief of Turkish diplomacy hands the note to his president and his cold reaction.
