US President Donald Trump has known Jerusalem as Israel's capital and has announced that the new US diplomatic headquarters will be located in this city. Trump has communicated this announcement through a media exit from the White House.

Many 70 years ago, after the violent end of British rule, when the UN voted for the division of Palestine into Jewish and Arab states, Jerusalem was defined as special entities under international supervision.

Under all procedures, the State Department will immediately launch the process of shifting the embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv where it is located today.
It may not initially be clear why changing this policy is so important. Jerusalem is behind all, the capital of Israel.

Israel's Parliament (Knesset) is there, such as the prime minister's office, the president's residence, the Supreme Court and all executive agencies.
The Israelites consider Jerusalem their capital, whether it is known or not by the United States.

As a practical issue, change is symbolic. But as such, this is very important. To understand why it is so important, the history of the city must be understood.

Why is this city so important to Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, where all three religions convert their common origins into Abraham's image.

Jerusalem ʹ a name that resurfaces in the hearts of Christians, Jews, and Muslims and echoes through centuries of common and conflicting history.
Known in Hebrew as Yerushalayim and in Arabic as al-Kods, is one of the oldest cities in the world.

He has been conquered, destroyed and rebuilt from time to time, and every layer of his land reveals a different part of the past.

Although it has often been the focus of accounts of division and conflict among people of different religions, they are united in honoring this holy earth.
At its core is the old city, a maze of narrow alleys and historical architecture that characterizes its four angles of Christians, Muslims, Jews and Armenians.

Kisha
Within the Christian neighborhood is the Church of the Holy Tomb, an important focus for Christians worldwide.

It is established in a place which is essential to the history of Jesus, death, intersection, and resurrection.

According to most of the Christian traditions, Jesus was crucified there, at Golgotha, or on Calvar Hill, his tomb lies within the monument, and this was also the place of his resurrection.

The church is jointly guided by representatives of various Christian faiths, primarily of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate, Franciscans, by the Roman Catholic Church and the Patriarchate of Armenia, but also by Ethiopians, Coptics, and the Syrian Orthodox Church. This is one of the main pilgrimage destinations for millions of Christians around the world who visit Jesus ' empty grave and seek comfort and repentance in the country.

Mosque
The Muslim angle is the largest of four, and it contains the shrine of the Rock Cupola and the El-Aqsa mosque on a plateau known to Muslims as Haram al-Sharif, or Bujar House.

The mosque is the third most sacred country in Islam and is under the administration of an Islamic trust called Waqf.

Muslims believe that the Prophet Muhammad traveled here from Mecca during his night voyage known as Night of Night.

A few steps away, the Rock Cup temple holds the cornerstone, where Muslims believe Muhammad then ascended to heaven.

Muslims visit the sanctuary throughout the year, but every Friday during the holy month of Ramadan, hundreds of thousands of Muslims come to pray at the mosque.

The Wall
The Hebrew quarter is the home of Cotel, or Western Wall, a remnant of the mountain wall that the Holy Temple once stood on.
Within the temple was the Holy of Saints, the most prominent place in Judaism.

The Jews believe that this was the place of the foundation stone from which the world was created, and where Abraham prepared to sacrifice his son Isaac, he sent forth gold. Many Jews believe the Dome of the Rock is the Holy Place of Saints.

Today, the Western Wall is the closest place that Jews can pray to the Holy Saints. It is managed by the West Wall rabbi and hosts millions of visitors each year.
Jewish people from around the world visit this place to pray and to be connected with their inheritance, especially during the High Festival.
