Seshel is accused of committing crimes against non-Serbs in Croatia, in the Serbian region of Vojvodina, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the 1990s wars.
Seshel had managed to get rid of the charges in March 2016, since she has now declined to be present at the trial, thus representing her defense attorney, broadcasting Indescline.
“I won't go and connect via video. I don't even want to see it. I don't have time and I don't care. The action will be sent to me by letter and nothing else matters to me”, Seshel said.
According to him, Tribunal cannot object to what he has decided before.
Prosecutors have earlier sought by the Court to plead Sheshel guilty on three counts of crimes against humanity and six counts of violations of war laws and to condemn her to 28 years in prison, or to order new trials.
Suspected crimes include persecution on political, racial or religious grounds, deportations, murder, and torture.
