Freedom for activists and deputies, Justice for Astrit Dehar!
V Movement General Council Declaration EVIDENCE!
General Council of Movement V At his XXI meeting, he comes up with this statement about the persecution and unjust condemnation of activists Frasher Krasniqi, Atfi, Egzon Haliti and Adea Batusha, as well as the arrest of deputies Albin Kurti and Donika Kadaj, but also the unjust persecution of Alboulena Haxhi and Faton Topolal and other MPs who are facing separate court processes on the same issue, and calls for justice in the case of Astri Dehar.
For more than 15 months, a major injustice in the form of political and legal scandal has in itself violated universal human rights, but also violations of the principles of the democratic state and justice. Six innocent activists were arrested on a monstrous charge: terrorism. They were arrested without evidence and evidence, even minimal. They were initially held in prison, although it was soon witnessed, by witnesses and security cameras, that the moment they were charged with action, all activists were at their own place and elsewhere.
Astrit Dehari has been one of the activists arrested under mounted charges, which there is evidence that he was killed in Prizren prison. The suspicion is based on the forensics report of two doctors appointed by the Dehari family, based on the lies testified to by senior police and power officials, and is based on the equally suspicious death, a few months later, of the top witness in this case, Naser Makol, who suffered the sentence in the same cell as Astrit Deharin. To this day, power is still preventing independent investigation into the case of death in prison under the violent circumstances of Astrit Dehar, preventing the whitening of what might be considered the worst political murder ever to take place under such circumstances.
Four activists, Frasher Krasniqi, Father and Arifi, Egzon Haliti i n Adea BatushaThey were held in custody and in house arrest in a long-standing process, even though the post-sance hearing proved their innocence and all efforts by the regime-ordered prosecutor collapsed. Even the expert from the US FBI has proved there is no evidence to blame our four activists. However, without evidence, in violation of human rights and laws, Judge Becir Kaluldra, turned into a tool of the regime, sentenced Movement activists to 21 and a half years in prison. In our Kosovo, where criminals are in power, the innocent are criminally punished. Movement V YOU view this decision as a height of injustice.
The activists had to be organized into protests and demonstrations against this unfair decision. But the focus on local elections, as well as the internal situation in Movement and the failure of the normal functioning of some decision-making bodies, have long delayed some of the decisions the Movement would have to make early.
Chairman Visar Ymer, on an anniversary of the murder of Astrit Dehar, warned the regime with an ultimatum aimed at allowing independent investigations in the Astrit Dehar case. Our request for the release of activists is part of the same issue, so we will treat it politically and the same with the Astritis justice requirement. We simultaneously seek justice for Astritis and freedom for activists. If the regime continues to fail to act, we will be organized into protests.
The General Council applies to the chairman, chief, and secretary general, to follow closely the demands of family members and lawyers of convicted activists, doing what is possible, with all the human, logistical and financial capacities of the Movement, to advance the issue to the highest degree in the judiciary. We also apply to our governing structures to be as active as possible, in any case, to conscious the interior public and to make the problem of unjust and criminal punishment of innocent activists as well as the issue of independent investigation into the murder of Astri Dehar.
As if all of this criminal attack on activists is not enough, MPs Albin Kurti and Donika Kadaj are currently held in custody, while Albulen Haxhiu and Faton Topalli are continuing persecution through a strictly political trial, only since they emerged in the protection of the Republic against “Zajednica” and the unfair Demarket agreement with Montenegro. Kosovo's Constitutional Court, as well as the new State Commission for Demarkation, has granted them the right and legitimised the action that MPs of the Republikaist Movement have taken. Movement V EVENTION! It is the largest political subject in the country, and it neither agrees nor allows the arrogance of the judiciary captured against our deputies, who have committed no crime but only protected Kosovo's territory and future.
We insist that institutions respond as it is right and the law, free innocent activists and MPs, and allow justice to be done in the case of Astrit Dehar. As it has been made public, in the protest march of November 5, 2017, the regime has a deadline, and that deadline is February 2018. Further, there will be no more requests, but protests and demonstrations.
