Just a month after the report presenting the course of the event and causes, the Labour Inspectorate based on this report has already made a decision to the company “Bechtel & Enka” about the death of 41-year-old Tarallar.
The Labour Inspectorate today in construction conversation.info has announced that they have already made the decision that the company “Bechtel & Enka” will be pronounced penalty measures worth 7 thousand and 500 euros.
This fine has been made known for construction. Info Deputy Prime Minister of Labour Agim Millaku. He has stressed that this measure could change to the second degree.
“The field inspector has issued a decision to pronounce the penalty penalty measure. The amount pronounced as a fine is 7 thousand and 500 euros. But that's not definitional because it can change to the second degree, then it's the Constitutional Court of Appeals, Supreme Court. This complains to completion. So this is just the first step of the inspector”, Millaku has shown.
To come to this decision, the Kosovo Labour Inspectorate has carried out the necessary procedures to find the causes of the death of Tafillar and has drafted a final report of the event, Construction.info reports.
This report highlights the course of the event on the basis of witness testimony, business organization by employer, and causers of the worker's death.
And in this report, the company “Bechtel & Enka” has delivered its remarks shortly before the Labour Inspectorate makes its decision.
That this company had remarks about the report, her spokeswoman, Ela Ruci, has said in an electronic response to construction.info.
“The EUGP received the Labour Inspectorate Report on Thursday and has submitted official comments about the tragic accident. We are committed to working with all relevant institutions and have handed over all required documentation. BELGP considers the safety of its employees to be the absolutely important thing”, she underlined.
As long as Ruci has not shown what the company she stands for has done second to the Labour Inspectorate, Agim Millaku.
Millaku, has declared that “Bechtel & Enka” has rejected only the work-organization point by complying with the other points of the report, even the cause of the worker's death.
The “countries are mainly oriented on the issue of rejecting the labour Inspectorate report regarding the organisation of employers' work in the workplace. In the rest of the way, he caused the accident found by the Labour Inspectorate to match the findings of his employer because he too made a report. So, it's about reconciliation all of what the inspector has estimated”, he stressed.
Meanwhile, the Labour Inspectorate report, drafted on November 3rd, had found that the labour body was not at the proper level and well followed, and the employer put the worker at risk. Based on this report, “Bechtel & Enka” had violated certain legal provisions.
Tafil Talallari from Prizren had found death on 28 October during work on the “Arba Xhaferi” highway, exactly in the village of Kovacec of Kacanik.
