In today's world, anxiety diagnosiss are becoming increasingly common, especially among young people, reports “Disclose.tv”, Periscope broadcast. This increase tends to be attributed to the establishment of technology, parental supervision, exam schooling, and “luks” that are offered to have many choices.
Especially written music can be an outstanding treatment for anxiety
For whatever reason, many young people throughout the Western world are being diagnosed with anxiety at the doctor's office. The disorder, which may be extremely weakened during daily life, will be treated with pharmaceutical drugs as treatment.
A smaller portion of patients also receive therapy along with medicine. Anxiety can also be addressed, using holistic methods such as meditation, yoga, massages and other relaxation techniques. Of all the treatments used to combat anxiety, music therapy has been one of the rarest therapies. But all of this will change because of a new study about the efficiency of this form of therapy.
The research was done by Mindlab International in the United Kingdom, who were interested in finding out what kind of music promotes the greatest state of relaxation.
Experimented by participants trying to solve difficult elements which would cause them different levels of stress when they were equipped with sensors. At the same time, they would hear a series of different songs. Their brain activity, heart rate, blood pressure, and their respiratory rate were constantly monitored during the study.
The song that was most effective was PAinless and created by Marco Union in order to promote relaxation to listeners.
Surprisingly, this song has reduced the symptoms of anxiety from participants to 65%. Not only did the song slow down the heart rate and the blood pressure, but it also seems to hinder the release of stress hormones, such as cortisol.
Despite the extreme efficiency of this wonderful song, lead researcher Dr. David Lewis-Hodgson advised him to come with a health warning. He said that music was so effective in sleep. Hence, he said that it may be advisable not to listen to music during driving./Periscopi/
