Putin will appear before 1,600 journalists in a traditional organisation for him now.
This is his 13th conference since becoming president in 2000.
In this organisation Putin answers to various issues, ranging from the economy to international relations.
At last year's conference, Putin answered 50 questions, and the event has lasted three hours and 53 minutes.
He has confirmed over the past month that he will seek a vote for the fourth term in the upcoming elections.
Putin, 65, has been president or prime minister since 1999.
