Kosovo Statistics Agency data points to increased prices of products from flour, meat, trees and some other foods
According to statistics, bread and cereals have suffered an increase in the price of 2.9 percent, while milk, cheese, and eggs 1.2 percent.
The prices of 12.8 percent have increased in trees, which, according to officials of this agency, have occurred because most of them are imported.
However, these cited percentages call consumer defenders smaller, who say that in reality the prices of basic products are even bigger, while salaries continue to remain the same.
The KSF's data is unconvincing the leaders of the Kosovo Millian Association.
They even believe that mills are working at loss.
Those who are finally paying the cost are citizens who complain that they don't even know how they're doing to end the month.
However, consumers and their defenders say this whole situation has been created as a result of institutional market control in our country.
A few years ago, the government made a decision on lowering the VAT, for a number of essential products for the consumer basket, but such a decision did not reflect on the price because this is how traders decided.
