Pacolli: EU has failed (Video)

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Behxhet Pacolli, in an interview for Deutche Welle, has said that visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens is a failure that the “has reached” v the EU because it has set conditions that should not be, such as demarcation.

Kosovo is further being treated as the last “black theft”, where our youth is closed and they cannot travel freely. This should not happen, and Kosovo deserves Europe. Kosovo is also part of Europe and Central Europe, not southern or eastern. Do not integrate or drag on Kosovo's EU integration is Europe's failure. But now with joint work in co-operation with Brussels institutions we will build our future”, Pacolli has said.

Asked when the demarcation is expected to go to the Kosovo Assembly for ratification, Pacolli has said there is still no precise date when that will happen.

“Demarkation and fighting corruption are two of the 35 conditions presented and demarcation is the new condition. I've been to Brussels and Montenegro and I don't think this condition should appear. We will soon have our document and send it to the assembly for ratification”, he said.
