The prime minister was questioned for several hours under the many investigations that are under way for corruption allegations”, according to the same sources.
In one of the investigations, Netanyah allegedly received, illegally, gifts from very wealthy personalities, such as Australian billionaire James Packer and a producer in Hollywood, Arnon Milchan.
The entire value of these gifts is thought to be, according to the media, several thousand dollars.
Another investigation seeks to determine whether Netanyah has attempted to reach a secret agreement with the owner of “Ydiot Asaronot” (Israelan journalists) to get a positive coverage of his image.
On the other hand, the Israeli prime minister has repeatedly been protected from all these charges, claiming he is the victim of a campaign to oust him from power.
