Murder in Pec: Lawyer warns speculation against the prosecutor

The defense of accused Kreshnik Haliti, the accused of killing Mentor Zekiaj in Pec, on March 6th 2017 demanded the dropping of the indictment, rejecting evidence and firing criminal procedures. He filed these requests in court, Bahtir Troshupa, Kreshnik Halit's lawyer, while informing the chairman of the court, Joy Mujarri. But for prosecutor Ardian Hajdaray, the request for the rejection of the indictment by lawyer Troshupa has been made only superficially and without any basis.

In addition, lawyer Bahtri Troshupa, arguing objections to the evidence of the indictment, cited the circumstance that neither the judge was present at the scene, demanding that even the country's procession of the event be declared unacceptable evidence.

Even a witness's statement, according to the lawyer, should be declared unacceptable in further stages of reasoning that it had impacts on its statement by police officials.

But, prosecutor Ardian Hajdaraj said the witness's statement remains in the prosecutor's assessment of whether it was true or not, though he added that the declaration of the same was the same in the police as in the prosecutor.

Prosecutor Hajdaraj also said they are unprofessional and unethically statements by lawyer Troshupa in objections to the indictment that he will file criminal charges against two witnesses, policemen, two lawyers and the prosecutor himself.
